Throughout the entire morning (Sun. May 10) I kept hearing "Blessed are the meek because they
shall inherit the earth!"
The picture of King Solomon kneeling was a beautiful picture of what it means to be meek. Man's
limited power and position being yielded and willingly submitted, given over to the ultimate supreme
infinite POWER of God in us so we can join Him in His purpose of giving us the earth! That is exactly
how we are going to inherit the earth---by exchanging our human ability and power for the almighty
resurrection power of Christ. He requires our willingness to lay down, sometimes literally, (become
meek) so we can be RAISED UP in HIS POWER!!!!!GLORY! Become like a lamb so that the LION can
roar through us.
life is our inheritance. We have to get this! We have to be transformed by the renewing of our minds
so that the kingdoms of this world can become the kingdoms of our God!!!!
The Holy Spirit always unpacks so much to me when Paul talks. His Kingdom is coming out of Paul
and touching a cord inside of me. That's the stirring up on the inside (where His Kingdom is) that is
supposed to happen when an apostle speaks. Sorry, but that's how I see it!!!! There is more than
teaching happening at The River. The LIFE of God is being released in us. Our leaders speak
Kingdom Gospel and power comes.
